Welcome to Hinterberg group house, the perfect group accommodation for your vacation! The group house is located on the Walchwilerberg in central Switzerland, above Lake Zug and in the midst of a breathtaking pre-Alpine landscape. From here you can enjoy a fantastic view of the Alps and the lake. The house can accommodate up to 42 guests and is ideal for small and large groups. The accommodation has five bedrooms, a leader room, a modern kitchen, two lounges, two shower rooms and two WC facilities. There is also a large terrace with fireplace and playground at your disposal.
Hinterberg group house is located in a beautiful environment that offers numerous activities and excursion destinations. In the region you can explore various hiking trails and enjoy spectacular views of the Alps and lakes. In winter you can use the cross-country skiing trails at Walchwilerberg. In addition, we recommend three special excursions: the stalactite caves in the Lorzentobel near Baar, the nature and animal park in Goldau and the indoor and outdoor swimming pool Lättich in Baar.
You reach the group house Hinterberg in about 12 minutes driving time from the junction of the cantonal road in Walchwil. If you arrive by train or bus, get off at the station Walchwil station. Next to the group house is the Chäs-Hütte Rust with a grocery store where you can buy regional cheese specialties and other dairy products. The group house and the cheese hut are managed by the Rust family.
