Welcome to the vacation camp Obergschwend in Gersau, Canton Schwyz. Our cozy and spacious camp house is located above Lake Lucerne in the middle of a beautiful mountain and natural landscape. It is perfect for ski and class camps, group outings and family celebrations. The camp house offers a variety of activities, including a nature playground, volleyball, basketball, swing, seesaw, table tennis, a large fireplace, as well as a forest and a mountain stream in the immediate vicinity. In the house there are two living/dining rooms with an oil tiled stove, as well as a fully equipped large kitchen, a pantry, a drying room, washrooms, showers and toilets. Rooms are equipped with 3×2 beds and 1×4 beds. There are also mattress dormitories with 2×14 and 2×16 sleeping places. The location of the summer camp house is ideal for outdoor activities. Only two minutes walk away is the cable car Rigi-Burggeist, which takes you to a beautiful hiking area with breathtaking views. In winter you can also go sledding, skiing or cross-country skiing. Access to the house is possible even in winter. The vacation camp house Obergschwend offers space for up to 70 people and has 8 rooms and 2 halls. The kitchen is well equipped and there is enough dinnerware for 80 people. The warehouse is located off the beaten track at an altitude of 1024 meters above sea level. The journey is possible by car or minibus via a mountain road. Parking spaces are available. In the surrounding area there are numerous excursion possibilities, including a boat trip on Lake Lucerne, the zoo Goldau, the Tellsplatte-Rütli, the Museum of Transport Lucerne, the Museum Schwyz, trekking team Weggis, the Swiss Holiday Park Morschach and hikes to the Rigi.
