Welcome to the group house Haus an der Emme in Schüpfheim! Our house can accommodate up to 122 people and is ideal for large groups, sports clubs, schools, families, companies, associations and the military. The house is located in the middle of the relaxing landscape of the Entlebuch, a UNESCO biosphere, at 714 meters above sea level.

Our house has several bedrooms with a total of 122 beds. The rooms are divided into 2-bed, 4-bed, 10-bed, 12-bed, 14-bed and 28-bed rooms. Please bring your own sleeping bag, while pillows are available.

A fully equipped gastro kitchen is at your disposal for your meals. It has 4 hotplates, a tilting kettle, a tilting frying pan, an oven, a steamer, a deep fryer, a fridge and a freezer. A dishwasher, eating utensils, a tilt kettle and cooking utensils are also available.

In our house you will also find various lounges, including a dining room for 96 people with TV, video and stereo on the first floor. Another dining room for 40 people and a hobby room with table tennis are also located on the first floor. On the upper floor there is a lounge with terrace. Sanitary facilities include individual showers, washrooms and toilets, including wheelchair-accessible showers and toilets.

In summer you can play on the playground right next to the house on the Kleine Emme or swim in the heated swimming pool just 3 minutes walk away. For sports enthusiasts there is a soccer field, a vitaparcours, a triple gymnasium and various hiking and biking routes in the region. In winter you can go skiing, cross-country skiing or tobogganing in the skiing areas Schüpfheim/Heiligkreuz-First and Sörenberg.
