Group Accommodation Mittelsäss: Your Perfect Retreat in the Swiss Mountains

Welcome to the group house Mittelsäss in Bad Ragaz! The vacation camp house offers space for up to 30 people and is located at 1402 meters above sea level in the beautiful skiing and hiking area Pizol. The accommodation is ideal for seminars, courses, class camps, anniversaries and birthdays. The house has three dormitories with dormitory camps, where a total of 28 berths are available. A woolen blanket and a pillow are provided for each berth. The sleeping bags must be brought by yourself. In the cozy kitchen is heated and cooked with wood. There is a wood stove as well as an oven. The kitchen is equipped with a refrigerator, eating utensils and cookware.

The house is secluded in the mountains and is located directly on the ski slope. In winter the hut is even accessible by skis. In summer you can reach the accommodation in a 20-minute walk downhill from the Pizol mountain railway station. Arrival by car is possible in summer and there are two parking places with permit available. The house is located outside the village of Bad Ragaz and offers an unobstructed view of the mountains as well as the Rhine Valley. A stream and a fireplace with barbecue are available right around the house.

In the surrounding area there are numerous recreational opportunities such as hiking, biking, swimming in the lake or indoor pool, skiing and much more. The Pizol ski resort offers 11 lifts and 43 kilometers of slopes. There is also an outdoor swimming pool, a soccer field, a cinema, an artificial ice rink, miniature golf, restaurants, ski lifts and a tennis court nearby. The house is well accessible by public transport. From Bad Ragaz train station it takes about 2 hours to the house. With the post bus or bus you reach the valley station Pizol, from there it is approx. 20 minutes walk downhill to the house. In summer the access to the house is possible by car. Please note that the house is not accessible by touring car.
