Welcome to Lausanne Jeunotel Youth Hostel!

Our youth hostel is located in Lausanne-Vidy and can accommodate 320 people. The address is Ch. du Bois-de-Vaux 36, 1007 Lausanne-Vidy. Our accommodation is wheelchair accessible and offers parking spaces for cars (CHF 10.00/day, reservation recommended). The youth hostel is located in the heart of Lausanne, the capital of French-speaking Switzerland and of sport. Enjoy culture and pleasure with a view of glittering Lake Geneva.

Lausanne is a dynamic city center built on three hills, bordering the Lavaux vineyards and towering majestically over Lake Léman. The medieval old town, the alleyways and the Gothic cathedral will delight you, as will a stroll along the waterfront and through the extensive parks in the harbor district of Ouchy. Lausanne is also home to an interactive Olympic Museum. From the youth hostel you can easily reach all the sights by public transport and relax in our inner courtyard on the lakeshore.

Our youth hostel offers different room categories. We have 310 beds, including 6 single rooms, 13 double rooms with 2 single beds, 38 double rooms with shower/WC, 20 double rooms with shower/WC, 18 four-bed rooms and 18 five-bed rooms. We also offer barrier-free rooms.

Our accommodation offers a wide range of amenities, including towel hire, bike hire, dog-friendly single rooms, washing machines and dryers for a fee, free towels in single, double and family rooms, bed linen, badminton, billiards, volleyball, table football, table tennis, a library, baby equipment, a playground, a garden, a terrace, a bicycle shelter, seminar and recreation rooms, a bar with snacks and a restaurant. WLAN is also included.

Our youth hostel is also accessible for people with disabilities. The inner courtyard is accessible from the dining room or the main entrance. The rooms are spacious and many of them are wheelchair accessible. However, there are some small thresholds in the main door and in the courtyard exit.

The sanitary facilities are also barrier-free. The width of the bathroom doors is 80 cm, the toilet height is 47 cm and the washbasins are wheelchair accessible.
