Centrally located Solothurn Youth Hostel: A warm welcome

Welcome to Solothurn Youth Hostel! Our youth hostel is located in the baroque center of the “11er-Stadt” Solothurn, directly on the Aare and with a view of the roofs of the old town. You can’t stay here more centrally! There are 11 churches and chapels, 11 historic fountains and 11 museums in the picturesque old town. The st. Ursen Cathedral, the city’s landmark, was built in 11 years and has an impressive façade that is 3×11 meters high. There are 11 bells in the tower and the staircase consists of 3×11 steps. The locals like to enjoy an “Öufi beer” on the banks of the Aare. Our youth hostel offers 15 rooms with a total of 94 beds. The rooms are comfortably furnished and offer a pleasant atmosphere. Bed linen is provided and there is hot and cold water in most rooms. The sanitary facilities include 13 toilets, 6 washrooms and 6 individual showers. There are numerous leisure activities in the vicinity of the youth hostel. In the house you can play billiards, table football or board games. There is also a sports hall where you can do sports. If you want to go swimming, the lake is right on the doorstep. There is also an indoor swimming pool in the region, which you can reach on foot in just 13 minutes.
