Scout home Centro scaut la Piana Aget: Unforgettable stay

Welcome to the scout center Centro scaut la Piana Aget in Somazzo (TI). The scout house offers space for up to 35 people and is located at an altitude of 700 meters above sea level. The accommodation has various rooms, sanitary facilities and a well-equipped kitchen.

The sleeping areas are divided as follows: There is one room with 4 mattresses and two further rooms with 12 mattresses each. Please bring your own bedding or sleeping bag. The lounge/dining room offers space for up to 40 people and there is also a pantry.

The scout house has central heating and individual stoves, including a fireplace. Please note that not all rooms have hot and cold water. A total of 8 toilets, 2 washrooms and 2 group showers are available.

In the kitchen there is an electric stove, a large oven and a 200-liter refrigerator. Cookware and crockery are also provided.

The area around the scout home offers many opportunities for activities. There is a gravel playground directly around the house, which is connected to a piece of forest. The village also has a football pitch, a playing field and a forest for games. There is also a campsite nearby where you can enjoy mountaineering, surfing and other outdoor activities. A sports hall is also available.

For water lovers, there is the option of swimming in the lake in the region, which can be reached by public transport in around 20 minutes including the walk. Alternatively, there is also a swimming pool that can be reached on foot in 20 minutes.

For excursions in the surrounding area, we recommend Monte Generoso, San Giorgio, Lake Lugano, meadows, fields, vineyards and typical Ticino villages and towns. Border crossings to Italy are also nearby. An Alpine campsite above Mendrisio is only 10 km away.
