Welcome to Schulhaus Ferden, a group accommodation in Ferden (VS). The schoolhouse can accommodate up to 15 people and is located at an altitude of 1375 meters above sea level. The house is wheelchair accessible and is quietly located in the village. Getting there is easy, as the post bus station is right in front of the resort. Parking spaces are available and the bus stop is just a minute’s walk away.
The school building has bedrooms for a maximum of 15 people. There is also a craft room for creative activities. The house also has a playground with play equipment and a sports hall.
There are many excursion options in the surrounding area. In summer, the Lötschental valley attracts visitors with 200 kilometers of marked hiking trails, the impressive and UNESCO-protected glacier forefield of the Langgletscher and other leisure activities. In winter, the Lauchernalp ski area offers 33 kilometers of slopes up to 3.111 meters above sea level best conditions for skiing and freeriding. There are also 50 kilometers of marked winter hiking trails where you can explore the Lötschental on foot or with snowshoes. The valley museum offers an insight into the alpine traditions and customs of the region.

There is a lot waiting to be discovered in the Lötschental. In summer, the Lötschental attracts visitors with 200 km of marked hiking trails, the easily accessible and impressive UNESCO-protected glacier forefield of the Langgletscher and many other leisure activities (new themed and educational trail!). In winter, the Lauchernalp ski area offers excellent access and guaranteed snow. The sunny ski area offers you 33 km of pistes up to 3,111 m above sea level, and opens up a racy freeride area. You can discover the Lötschental on foot or with snowshoes on 50 km of marked winter hiking trails. Herrgottsgrenadiere, traditional costumes, Tschäggättä – the valley museum offers you an insight into this world of Alpine traditions and customs. Groups can now carve masks under expert guidance in the Ferden carving room and learn more about the “Tschäggättä” tradition.
