Welcome to the group house Vrin-Cons!
The group house Vrin-Cons is located in the idyllic community of Vrin in the canton of Grisons. With a capacity of up to 30 people, it is the ideal place for school and confirmation camps, group and family vacations as well as retreats and trainings. The former schoolhouse, owned by the foundation ‘Pro Vrin’, offers simple facilities and is suitable both as a vacation home and as a meeting place.
The first floor of the group house has a bright dining room and lounge, which can accommodate ca. Offers 30 people. The fully equipped kitchen with stove, oven, refrigerator, cutlery, dishes and glasses allows for uncomplicated self-catering. Furthermore, there are separate men’s and women’s toilets and a wash and shower room with 4 showers and 4 washbasins.
On the upper floor of the group house there is a four-bed room with two bunk beds, a double room with a double bed and a mattress camp with space for 16 people. The attic offers another mattress warehouse with space for approx. 20 people.
The group house Vrin-Cons is heated by two large soapstone stoves in the lounge and in the lower mattress dormitory. In addition, electric stoves are available in the rooms. Please note that the upper mattress camp is only suitable for spring, summer and autumn.
The group house Vrin-Cons is centrally located in the village of Vrin and is easily accessible by car and public bus. Parking spaces are available directly next to the house.
The surroundings of the group house offer numerous opportunities for activities. Nearby there is a fireplace with barbecue, which can be reached in about ten minutes on foot. In addition, there is the possibility of swimming in the lake, which can be reached by public transport including walking in about 30 minutes. There is also a stream in the immediate vicinity of the group house. Skiing is possible in the region at an altitude of 1243 meters above sea level, also reachable in about 30 minutes by public transport including footpath. The group house Vrin-Cons is also an excellent starting point for hikes, ski tours and nature explorations, for example in the area of the plateau “Greina”.
