Welcome to the group house Hirschboden in Gais! Our youth and leisure house offers space for up to 78 people. The accommodation consists of 58 rooms and a dormitory with 20 mattresses. The house is located in a beautiful setting at the foot of the Hirschberg and is ideal for vacation camps, class and sports camps as well as training events.
The Hirschboden group house has a well-equipped chrome steel kitchen, modern sanitary facilities and comfortable lounges. Near the house you will find a playground, a forest and numerous hiking trails in the Alpstein area.
The group house Hirschboden is located in Gais, in the canton Appenzell Ausserrhoden. The accommodation offers self-catering and also allows one-night stays. In the surrounding area you will find various recreational opportunities such as skiing, swimming and cross-country skiing.
Please note that during the stay in the group house Hirschboden must abstain from the consumption of alcohol. The group house is a non-smoking object.
