Affordable Group Accommodation in Andermatt with a Cozy Atmosphere and Convenient Location

Welcome to the group house Soldatenhaus in Andermatt! Our tourist camp is the perfect place for a cheap stay and a meeting place for young and old. In a cheerful and cozy atmosphere we spoil our guests. The unique location right next to the Nätschen valley station and only 5 minutes walk from the village center makes the Soldatenhaus the ideal starting point for activities in Andermatt.

Our offer includes different categories of rooms. We have two double rooms, three rooms with four beds and one room with six beds. We also offer a room with 20 beds and a mattress camp for 12 people. All rooms are equipped with bunk beds and the showers and toilets are located on the floors. So you do not need to bring a sleeping bag, but you should bring your own towels.

On the first floor of the house is our cozy restaurant, which is open all day during the winter season. Here you can indulge in fine Swiss home cooking or after a day on the slopes enjoy a “Kaffi schnapps” or enjoy a mulled wine in a relaxed atmosphere.

Are you planning a celebration or special occasion? We will be happy to organize a party in the Soldiers’ House according to your wishes. We offer you a customized menu that meets your taste and budget. If necessary you can also stay overnight directly with us.

Directly in front of the Soldiers’ House is our Beaver Bar, which opened in December 2017. The sunny terrace with a view of the mountains invites you to linger. Here you can drink coffee, have lunch or enjoy the après-ski from 15:00 hrs. With atmospheric music you let the day end perfectly.

In the center of Andermatt we also run the Postillion Bar, which is open from 17:00 hrs. Here people from all over the world meet and party until late at night. The friendly team provides delicious drinks, great music and a great atmosphere. A visit to the Postillion Bar is an absolute must if you want to explore Andermatt.
