Welcome to the Capanna Baloo group house in Locarno, southern Switzerland. Our house offers space for a total of 32 people and is ideal for camps and courses for young groups. The room layout includes one room with 24 beds and one room with 8 beds. Please bring your own sleeping bags, pillows are available.
Our group house has a cozy dining and lounge area for 30 people. The kitchen is equipped with a 6-burner electric hob, an oven and a 250-liter refrigerator. The crockery is available for 30 people.
The sanitary facilities include a washroom, three toilets and a communal shower room with three showers.
The Capanna Baloo group house also offers various leisure activities. There is a football pitch and an outdoor playground right in front of the house. There is an indoor swimming pool, cinemas, an artificial ice rink, mini golf courses and restaurants in the surrounding area. Ski lifts can be found in Bosco Gurin and Tamaro. Tennis courts and bathing facilities are available in Locarno and Ascona.
Our group house is centrally located and shopping facilities are within walking distance. Arrival is possible by public transportation. The house is only a 20-minute walk from Locarno train station and a 5-minute walk from the Solduno post bus/bus station. Access to the house is possible by car or coach (the parking lot is 500 meters from the house).
