Welcome to the Berghotel Steingletscher! As a member of hotelleriesuisse, we meet all the requirements for our category and continuously address issues of safety, ecology and sustainability. In 2020, we expanded and extensively renovated our hotel, including a new PV system on the roof for even greener electricity. We look forward to welcoming you in a new look in spring 2022.
Our rooms are designed in a simple and cozy mountain style and offer everything you need. Spread over three floors, they have their own bathrooms, TV and WiFi. Families are also well catered for with our 3- and 4-bed rooms. If required, we are happy to provide additional mattresses to emphasize the familiar and uncomplicated character of our house in the high mountains.
The Berglodge Steinalp is our group house for KiBe camps and country school weeks. In winter it serves as a ski hut with a cozy sun terrace and in spring as a pub. The lodge offers a simple and cozy home with a wonderfully warming Swedish stove.
With around 125 dormitory places in various rooms, the accommodation is functional and offers woollen blankets and pillows. Please note that you must bring a sleeping bag for hygiene reasons. For longer stays we recommend your own pillowcase. The shower rooms, washrooms and toilet facilities contribute to a little more comfort. Two lounges with kitchen are available in summer.
Our mountain hotel and the Berglodge Steingletscher are located in Gadmen (BE), in the middle of the most beautiful alpine nature. Arrival is possible by car as well as by bus. Please note the road conditions from May to October. Sufficient parking spaces are available. We look forward to welcoming you to our mountain hotel and the Berglodge Steingletscher!
