Welcome to Berghaus Baumen in Grindelwald! Our vacation home is located on the sunny slope and offers a breathtaking view of the Wetterhorn, the Mettenberg, the lower and upper Grindelwald glacier as well as the Eiger North Face. Thanks to its location on the southern slope above Mühlebach, Berghaus Baumen is the ideal place for family vacations, vacation camps, country school weeks, conferences, meetings, weekend excursions, social events and all kinds of alpine courses.
The house has a total of 58 beds, divided into different rooms and dormitories. The kitchen is well equipped with a dishwasher, ceramic hob, ovens, coffee maker and much more. On the first floor there is a large lounge with 70 seats and a cozy fireplace.
The Berghaus Baumen is located directly at the ski slope and the hiking trail Bort-Grindelwald. It is easily accessible by public transport or by car. Parking spaces are available and in winter the driveway and parking spaces are skidded.
In the surroundings of the mountain house there are numerous recreational opportunities such as skiing, hiking, biking, visits to alpine huts, excursions with a gamekeeper and climbing. A trip to the Jungfraujoch or the Glacier Gorge is also recommended.

A 4bed room with cabins is in a studio (living room kitchen and small bedroom).
In the two 4bed rooms there are 2 places in beds and 2 in a bunk bed. In the 6-bed room there are 2 single beds and 4 places in 2 bunk beds.
Camps must bring sleeping bag and fixed sheet except for the 4 leader rooms and the studio. For other guests only for the big rooms (8 + 14 places) sleeping bag and sheet must be brought. Pillows are available in all rooms. The other rooms are equipped with comforters and sheets.
