Welcome to the La Pineta group house in Locarno! Our group house is situated in a quiet location on a hillside, surrounded by a large, wild garden and directly adjacent to the forest. The house offers space for a total of 13 people in 6 rooms. In the main house there are 2 bedrooms with 3 beds each and 1 double room. There are 2 double rooms and 1 single room available in the outbuilding/log cabin. The bed linen is already provided.
The eat-in kitchen, which also serves as a lounge, is heated by a wood-burning stove. Wood is available so that you can make yourself comfortable. There are a total of 4 toilets and 2 individual showers. The bathrooms in the main house are heated and equipped with WC and shower. There are also 2 WCs in the log cabin. The well-equipped eat-in kitchen has an electric hob, an oven, a dishwasher and a 190-liter refrigerator and a 68-liter freezer.
The surrounding area offers numerous opportunities for activities. Directly around the house there is a large garden with table and benches, a terrace, a fountain for bathing and a charcoal barbecue. The garden is terraced and has small lawns, perfect for playing. In the region, you can swim in the lake, visit an indoor pool or get active in the sports hall. Camps include hiking, swimming, boat trips and climbing in Ponte Brolla. There are also the Verzasca and Maggia valleys in the surrounding area with plenty of hiking opportunities, as well as the chance to travel to Italy and visit the markets in Luino and Cannobio. Another highlight is the Theatro Dimitri in Verscio.
