Holiday House in the Engadine Region: Cozy Accommodation for School Camps, Families, and Ski Touring Groups

Our vacation house Bos-cha is open all year round and is located in a quiet place in the middle of nature, directly on the Engadin high trail. Bos-cha is a small hamlet between Guarda and Ardez. In Guarda you can visit the famous “Bell Ursli House” from the picture book, which belongs to the nationally important Engadine houses.

The house offers a total of 38 sleeping places, divided into different rooms. There are rooms with 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 beds. Each guest has a closet at their disposal, but we recommend bringing a flashlight, as there are no bedside lamps available. The bed linen is mandatory.

The cottage has several common rooms, including a dining room for 38 people, a training or. Group room for 8 people and a cozy Arvenstube. In the basement there is a ski room with boot rack as well as table football, table tennis and outdoor games.

The sanitary facilities include 2 washrooms, a group shower, a single shower and 5 toilets. The kitchen is very well equipped with 2 convection ovens, a refrigerator, an induction stove and all necessary dishes and cooking utensils. In the storage cellar food is guaranteed to stay fresh. The Volg store in Guarda delivers directly to the house if ordered in advance.

The cottage offers free wifi and pets are not allowed. Around the house there is a fireplace with barbecue, a stone table with benches, a playground with goals and volleyball net, as well as various indoor games such as table football, table tennis and family games.

In the surrounding area there are numerous activities for summer and winter. In summer you can enjoy the quiet nature and the natural meadows, explore the Engadin high trail, hike and mountain bike in the national park or visit the national park museum in Zernez. In winter there is a snow-sure skiing area in Scuol/Ftan/Sent, cross-country skiing trails in Ardez and ideal conditions for ski tours.

The journey is possible both by public transport and by car. By train you get to Guarda station and from there by post bus to Guarda village. From the village it is approx. 15 minutes walk to the cottage. By car you can arrive either from Guarda or Ardez. There are 2 free parking spaces available, for additional parking spaces the municipality of Ardez charges a fee.
