Welcome to the Rorschacherberg vacation home in Tarasp! Our warehouse is located in the idyllic municipality of Scuol in the Lower Engadine at an altitude of 1,404 m above sea level. With its unobstructable hillside location at the foot of the castle hill, it offers a breathtaking view of the mountains of the Pisoc massif. The house is detached and yet within sight of the village of Fontana. The cozy rooms with wood paneling exude a homely atmosphere and offer enough space for up to 53 beds. The division into a storage wing and a residential wing for the management staff is particularly convenient. There is a playground in front of the house and the adjacent lake invites you to enjoy romantic leisure activities.
The spa area of Bad Tarasp Vulpera offers a variety of hiking trails and the nearby national park is a particular asset. In summer, both outdoor and indoor swimming pools are available nearby. Numerous half-day and day tours allow for a varied camp program and also offer returning guests ever new perspectives.
Our warehouse is particularly suitable for school or class relocations and vacation camps. In Tarasp and the surrounding area there are interesting natural objects and sights that can be visited, such as the mineral collection in Tarasp, Tarasp Castle with guided tour, the Schwarzsee (Lai Nair) for boiling, swimming and playing, the Hexenplatte near Sgné with prehistoric shell stone or the local history museum in Scuol. A mountain mill in Ftan, a suspension bridge over the Inn and other attractions can also be found in the surrounding area.
In winter, the lake offers an ice rink and a small practice lift for skiers and snowboarders. The ski Eldorado of Scuol-Ftan has more than 70 km of groomed downhill pistes, two gondola lifts and twelve T-bar and chair lifts. There are also over 60 km of cross-country ski trails in the Schuls-Tarasp region and a toboggan run in Tarasp for alternative winter sports options.
The infrastructure in the village of Tarasp offers our guests an optimal service and supply infrastructure. You can stock up on fresh food in the VOLG store. Please note that a written order is required one week before the start of storage in order to guarantee the desired products. Fresh milk is delivered directly to the vacation home if ordered in advance. You will find further important telephone numbers in our supplement.
