Schaffhausen Youth Hostel: Perfect group stay

Welcome to Schaffhausen Youth Hostel, the ideal place for your group accommodation. Our youth hostel is located at Randenstrasse 65, 8200 Schaffhausen, just 1 km from the city center. The youth hostel offers space for a total of 106 people and is wheelchair accessible. You can easily reach us by bus no. 6 from Schaffhausen station by taking the train to the Hallenbad stop. From there it is only about a 1-minute walk to the youth hostel. It is also possible to arrive by car, but there is a driving and parking ban on the youth hostel grounds. However, public parking spaces are available within a radius of 50-200 meters.

Our youth hostel offers various rooms, sanitary facilities and a kitchen. Bed linen is provided and there is also a bicycle storage room. The sanitary facilities have a total of 14 toilets, 4 washrooms, 12 individual showers and 1 room with WC and shower.

The area surrounding the youth hostel offers numerous opportunities for activities. There is a fireplace with barbecue right around the house and you can play table tennis in the house. There is also a playground with a meadow of around 16.000 m² and a forest for games. There is also a square with play equipment in the village. There is an indoor pool and a swimming pool on the doorstep of the youth hostel, both of which are just a 1-minute walk away. A stream can also be reached on foot in about 10 minutes.

There are many excursion options in the surrounding area, such as the Rhine Falls, the climbing park at the Rhine Falls, the KSS sports park with indoor and outdoor swimming pools, Stein am Rhein and the Technorama Winterthur. You can also spend the night in a cozy little castle, travel back in time to the Middle Ages, marvel at the Rhine Falls and have fun with games and sports.

Our youth hostel offers various room categories, including single rooms, double rooms and multi-bed rooms. A total of 107 beds are available. The infrastructure includes shower towels, which are available for a fee of CHF 3.- are available, and dogs are allowed in the private rooms.
