WELCOME TO THE HONEGG VACATION HOME (IN SÜDEREN-LINDEN BE 1000 M.Ü.M)
For 50 years, the Honegg vacation home has been an ideal place for happy camp weeks or weekends. It is suitable for Sunday schools, youth groups / scouts, country school weeks, family celebrations, clubs (e.B. sports / music) and others.
The Honegg vacation home offers space for 60 people (self-catering) and various play facilities in and around the house. It has a fireplace and barbecue area as well as a large dining and lounge area. The professionally equipped kitchen allows for easy self-catering. A drying room is also available. The attractive surrounding area is ideal for excursions, adventures and outdoor games. The Honegg vacation home also offers fair prices and a peaceful environment.
The Honegg Holiday Home Association operates and rents out the Honegg Holiday Home. The association is based in Bern and is affiliated with the Evangelical Methodist Church (EMK). The Honegg vacation home was originally the schoolhouse of the municipality of Oberlangenegg and was converted into a clubhouse by a nature lovers’ association. In 1966/67, the Sunday schools of the EMK congregations in Bern-Villette, Biel and Lausanne bought the building to hold children’s and youth camps there. The Honegg Holiday Home Association, founded in 1967, was entrusted with the operation and management of the home. In addition to regular maintenance work, there were also major renovation projects such as the installation of central heating and showers.
The association puts its heart and soul into the Honegg vacation home. Even after 50 years, it should still be attractive for our tenants and geared to today’s needs. It is important to us to be able to offer good value for money. That is why a lot of the work is done on a voluntary basis. Helpers’ events are held regularly for cleaning and repairs. Another major renovation project is due at the start of 2020: The kitchen will be completely renovated and brought up to modern standards.
The Honegg vacation home is located in Süderen (BE) and can accommodate 60 people. It is located at an altitude of 1000 meters above sea level. The house has various rooms with different bed layouts. The sleeping areas are equipped with sleeping bags. There are two lounges/dining rooms for a total of 30 people. The kitchen is equipped with electric hobs and a large oven. Additional facilities such as cooking and eating utensils are available
