Welcome to the Don Bosco Youth Center in Himmelried! Our youth house offers an ideal group accommodation for youth groups, school camps, family and birthday parties and much more. The house is situated in a dreamlike location in the Kaltbrunnen valley, only a few kilometers from Basel. You can easily reach the house either via Grellingen or Himmelried by car or by public transport. For a special excursion, however, we recommend a picturesque walk through the forest along the Ibach, which invites you to linger with its shallow river sections and gravel banks.
The Don Bosco youth center was recently renovated and now shines in new splendor. The charming wooden house can accommodate up to 26 people and has two dormitories with 10 and 14 beds and a separate room with two beds. The bright and open lounge invites you to linger and eat together. In the outdoor area there is a large wooden barbecue with seats for cozy campfire evenings.
The Don Bosco Youth House also offers a well-equipped kitchen and modern sanitary facilities. Whether in summer or winter, the landscape around the house is unique in every season and invites you to activities in nature. In the surrounding area you will find an arena, a fireplace with a grill, a playground and a campground. There is also a stream and a swimming pool nearby.
