Charming Bern Youth Hostel: in the heart of the city

Welcome to Bern Youth Hostel! Our youth hostel is located at Weihergasse 4, 3005 Bern and offers 184 places. Bern Youth Hostel is located in the heart of the city, between the Federal Palace and the River Aare. Since April 2018, the listed hostel has shone in new splendor and offers a bright extension with seminar rooms and a garden seating area. Here you can plan your activities and relax at the lunch table or under the trees. Visit the Federal Palace with its 26 water fountains, the Bear Park, the Paul Klee Center, the Einstein House or the arcades in the historic Old Town. Enjoy a refreshing dip in the Aare or go biking on the Gurten.

Our youth hostel offers various room categories with a total of 188 beds. We have single rooms, double rooms with shower/WC, family rooms, multi-bed rooms and a studio for 4 people with kitchenette and shower/WC. We also have rooms with washbasins and barrier-free rooms. Our infrastructure includes shower towels, which are available for a fee, free Wi-Fi, a terrace, a bike room, a seminar room and much more.

In our restaurant we spoil you with a tasty evening menu, which also includes a vegetarian option. The breakfast buffet is included in the price. We also accept lunch checks.

As a guest of Bern Youth Hostel, you benefit from free travel on public transport in zones 100/101 in Bern as well as on the Gurtenbahn, Marzilibahn, Münsterplattformlift and travel to and from Bern Airport with the Bern Ticket.
